Khalia\u2019s moiety is Duwa and her skin is Galidjan.&nbsp; Her clan (dawaro) is Bagala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Khalia\u2019s traditional language is Jawoyn but her day-to-day language is Kriol. She speaks perfect English.&nbsp; She went to Barunga School and got many prizes when she was young.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since leaving school, Khalia has worked at the creche with young children.&nbsp; She became assistant teacher at Barunga School and has also worked in the library and as a community centrelink agent.
